WHERE ARE WE?

Wynyard Quarter is an area of exciting revitalisation in the heart of Auckland's waterfront. Wynyard Quarter is a short walk across the Wynyard Crossing from the Viaduct Harbour and North of Victoria Park.

Until recently the area has been known to many Aucklander’s as the Western Reclamation or the Tank Farm.

CITY LINK BUS

Wynyard Quarter – Britomart- Queen Street – K-Road (return)

Monday to Saturday every 15 minutes from 6:30am to 11:30pm*

Sundays and Public Holidays every 20 minutes for 7am to 11pm*

010 BUS

Onehunga to Wynyard Quarter via Ponsonby, Williamson Ave, Great North Road, Carrington Road and Mt Albert Road

Monday to Friday every 30 minutes from 6:30am to 9am then every hour until 3pm. Then every half hour until 6pm*.

FANSHAWE STREET STOP

Buses stop at 185 Fanshawe Street from North shore destinations (stop 7037) from there Wynyard Quarter is a short walk down Halsey Street

From Britomart Transport Centre, Wynyard Quarter is a short five-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing bridge.

Driving

From Fanshawe Street take either Halsey or Beaumont Street onto Jellicoe Street.

Parking

If you're coming from Downtown Auckland, Viaduct Harbour or Te Wero Island, Downtown car park is the most convenient.
Downtown Carpark, 31 Customs Street West.

Wynyard Quarter Carpark

Entrance off Beaumont Street and Madden Street. First hour free—$2 hour following that.

Cycling

Wynyard Quarter is on a popular cycling route around the waterfront. Helmets do need to be worn at all times when within Wynyard Quarter.

Walking

From Britomart, Wynyard Quarter is a short five-minute walk down Quay Street, on to Te Wero Island and across the new Wynyard Crossing Bridge.

Wynyard Quarter is an easy stroll from downtown Auckland, Victoria Park, Ponsonby and neigbouring suburbs.


Where are we?

Queens Wharf is in the heart of Auckland’s down town at 99 Quay Street. Located at the end of Queen Street, Queens Wharf is just across the road from Britomart Transport centre and adjacent to the Auckland Ferry terminal.

Ferry

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located just behind the historic Ferry Building, adjacent to Queens Wharf. Ferries leave from this terminal to destinations across the Waitemata harbour and Hauraki Gulf. For destinations and timetables.

Britomart

Britomart Transport centre is located at 8/10 Queens Street. Queens Wharf is a short walk from the Queen Street exit of the station. Britomart is Auckland’s Public transport hub. It includes a railway station and bus exchange where many buses from around the region converge.

Air Bus Express

The airbus express is the transfer bus from Auckland airport into the city. This bus starts and terminates its journeys on Queens Wharf. The airbus express departs every 10 minutes.

Driving

There is no public parking on Queens Wharf. If driving the nearest car parks are in the Britomart or Downtown carpark


Auckland's Waterfront lies at the foot of Auckland’s Central City and is conveniently located to all public transport options: train, bus and ferry.

The waterfront makes a great destination to stroll along from East to West and back again, soaking in the atmosphere and admiring the different precincts along the way.

Viaduct

Travelling by car

The closest car parking is at the Downtown Car Park with access from Customs Street West. There is an overhead walkway that connects this car park to the Viaduct Marina

Travelling by bus/train

The Britomart Transport Centre is just a few minutes' walk from Voyager, making for easy access via both bus and train services. To plan your journey by public transport visit www.maxx.co.nz

Travelling by ferry

Fullers provide a passenger ferry service to a number of coastal suburbs in Auckland. The ferry terminal is a two minute walk from the Viaduct Harbour
